We went to the exhibit last weekend. I meant to write up a little report on it, but honestly, I'm still too clueless. I didn't learn anything you guys don't already know. It seemed aimed at people who practically never heard of the Grateful Dead.

I enjoyed the fan-decorated ticket envelopes. I remember my housemate in college dancing around the house happily when he got his tickets, but I don't think he decorated his envelopes.

I thought the exhibit was awesome -- just wish they had dedicated more space to it. My highlights: Pigpen's harmonica and pages from Dick's notebooks.

Yeah, I didn't mean to knock it, I just couldn't take much in. One has to have either no knowledge or a very great deal of knowledge to get much out of it. And to be honest I guess I'd rather listen to the music. I did read some of the letters arranging tours and they were entertaining.
